  • What is bookkeeping and why do I need it?

    Bookkeeping is the process of recording and organizing your financial transactions — like income, expenses, and bank activity — so you always know where your money is going. Clean books are essential for tax time, business loans, budgeting, and growth. Even if you’re small, staying organized now can save you thousands later.

  • Are you a CPA or tax preparer?

    No, I am a professional bookkeeper — not a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or licensed tax preparer. I do not file taxes or offer tax advice. However, I help you stay ready for tax season by keeping your books clean, accurate, and easy for your CPA or tax pro to understand.

  • What software do you use?

    I use QuickBooks Online (QBO) — one of the most trusted accounting software platforms. I’m also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, which means I can help you get set up properly and take advantage of exclusive discounts on your QBO subscription.

  • Do I need to already have QuickBooks Online?

    No. If you don’t have QBO yet, I’ll help you choose the right version and get you started. You’ll receive my affiliate link during onboarding so you can sign up with full transparency or if you have your own software than that’s perfectly fine too!

  • What services do you offer?

    I offer:

    Historical cleanup/catch-up

    Hourly a la carte help

    Payroll add-ons (if needed)

    Quarterly filings (if payroll is included)

  • How do I send you my documents?

    Once you sign up, I’ll send you a simple checklist. You’ll securely send bank statements, receipts, or anything else I need via email, cloud storage, or your client portal in QBO. I walk you through everything step by step.

  • How often will I hear from you?

    I provide regular updates, ask for anything I need, and send monthly reports. You’ll also receive reminders for things like missing documents or upcoming deadlines. I’m just an email or message away if you need support.

  • Is there a contract?

    Yes — but you are never locked in long term. My service agreement outlines expectations for both of us, but you can cancel at any time with notice. I believe in flexibility, not pressure.

  • How does billing work?

    You’ll be billed after services are completed each month. I offer flat-rate monthly packages and hourly options. You can pay via:

    Zelle

    Credit/debit card

    Online through my website

    A one-time $50 setup fee applies unless you already have a working bookkeeping setup.

  • Can you work with Spanish-speaking clients?

    Yes! I proudly offer bilingual services. I speak English and Spanish and can explain everything clearly no matter your language.

  • What if I need to upgrade or downgrade my package?

    No problem. You can change tiers at any time based on your business growth, slow season, or new needs. Just let me know and we’ll adjust your service accordingly.

  • Can you help me with IRS letters or audits?

    As your bookkeeper, I can provide organized financial records and reports to help you respond to the IRS. However, I do not represent clients in audits or provide legal/tax advice. I recommend working with a licensed tax preparer or CPA for IRS matters.
